FANTASTIC for HAM radio applications - winding your own transformers!!!
This wire is very easy to work with, is lustrous and beautiful in appearance, and my testing shows that it does what it is supposed to do! I wound a 49:1 BALUN (balanced to unbalanced) transformer and it performed perfectly! Bear in mind that at this diameter I was only working with 5 Watts (a QRP rig) but every test I ran, and I ran many, showed this to be consistent and good quality! In fact I am so confident with it that I have three spools now and will use it for all of my low-power rigs! I would recommend using a heavier gauge for high-power applications, but this worked perfectly for what I need, and was very affordable for an amount that will let me complete half a dozen projects per spool! Will certainly buy this again!

Worked for me.
I used this at home for a simple electric motor project. The coating scrapes off easily with a knife but stays on very well elsewhere. I had no complaints, it met my expectations. I would go with a smaller gauge wire for what I was using it for in the future.
