● The 22AWG Teflon high-temperature wire is composed of 19 strands of 0.15mm tin-plated copper wires, which offer superior electrical conductivity, reduce resistance, minimize energy loss, and ensure the stability and reliability of signal transmission. This makes it an ideal choice for connections in various electronic devices and circuits.
● 22AWG Teflon electronic wire uses FEP(fluorinated ethylene propylene) material as the insulation layer, which has excellent high-temperature resistance, outstanding chemical stability, and corrosion resistance. It is capable of withstanding acidic and basic corrosive substances, ensuring that the wire maintains good performance even in harsh environments.
● The outer diameter of the 22AWG Teflon wire is 1.42±0.1mm, with a nominal temperature range of -65 to 200°C and a nominal voltage of 300V. It has passed flame retardant tests, complying with the VW-1/FT1 standards. Additionally, it meets the environmental standards of RoHS 2.0 and REACH.
● FEP wires are widely used in aerospace wiring (aircraft wiring, avionics systems, and other critical components), automotive manufacturing wiring (engine systems, sensors, electrical harnesses, etc.), medical wiring (medical probes, surgical tools, and electronic medical devices), research and laboratory equipment wiring (analytical instruments, scientific equipment, and laboratory instruments), and chemical industry applications (heaters, sensors, industrial ovens, and control systems).

    Tough insulation

Posted by Barbv on 20th Dec 2024

Slick, tough, heat resistant, insulation. Teflon wire is used in the aviation industry where i worked because of it’s tough, practically heat proof insulation. I ordered to use for baluns and chokes for my ham radio hobby. Any wire would do really, but the toughness and heat resistance make this much easier to work, with especially when soldering. Much more durable when exposed to the elements.
