Long Life of Tinned Copper
● High strand count copper core; 12 AWG silicone stranded wire has 680 strands of 0.08 mm tinned copper wire. The copper strands are tinned, protecting them from corrosion and making soldering easier.
● It adopts intertwist winding technology. The wires are tightly twisted together to reduce signal interference and improve conductivity.
● High-Quality Ultra Flexible Soft Silicone Rubber Copper Wire! Super Low Impedance, Highly Efficient!

Ultra Flexible
They are constructed with premium silicone rubber insulation, strong toughness, and can be curled arbitrarily without easily breaking, suitable for various tasks.
Security and Reliability
With uniform thickness and low eccentricity, they can effectively prevent current breakdown and ensure the safety of electricity use.
Low Temperature Resistance
Even in winter, these wires remain soft. They can work normally even in extremely cold temperatures of -60 degrees Celsius without affecting conductivity.
High Temperature Resistance
Constructed with premium silicone rubber insulation, these wires possess flame retardant and insulating properties, with high temperature resistance up to 200 degrees Celsius.

After using this, you won't want to use anything else.

Posted by Bill D. on 6th Feb 2019

I started out using this wire for a couple of projects subject to wide temperature variations, but it makes life so much easier I use it for everything now. The huge difference between using this wire versus less expensive PVC jacketed wire is that you spend zero time wrestling the wire into the proper shape, narrow pathways, or other tight spots. PVC jacketed wire is just too stiff, especially at larger gauges. When it's cold, it's even worse. This stuff never gets as stiff, even when it is cold. Plus, the high-temperature resistance brings peace of mind that the insulation won't melt if/when something in a device goes very wrong. The wires stay protected and pliable under crazy temperature extremes. Yeah, it costs more, but how much is your time worth? How much is it worth to avoid the frustration of routing wire which won't bend. How much is it worth to have the peace of mind of knowing that your insulation is unlikely to melt away, exposing dangerous current levels to possible short circuits? It is really difficult to go back to using the cheap PVC stuff once you've used this a few times. Think of it as one more way to reduce stress and worries in your life. Highly recommended.

Excellent tinned copper wire for DC projects.

Posted by Galen on 23rd Aug 2018

I've been using this wire to build battery packs for a DIY powerwall. The silicone sheathing is flexible, it feels a bit rubbery. It is highly stranded copper wire which is best for DC applications. The thin wires are tinned for easier soldering. It's a little precarious to strip without shearing off strands. Excellent wire, I'll probably order more.
