They are constructed with premium silicone rubber insulation. The 22 Gauge 2-Conductor Parallel Silicone Wire Core is made with 60 strands of 0.08 mm tinned copper wire per conductor. Tinned copper wire has better anti-oxidation performance, features high conductivity, lower resistance, reduces heat production, and is anti-aging.

Used it for the job, it's okay. Exactly as advertised, the missing stars are for how soft the silicone is. The insulator silicone is so soft it can be cut with a fingernail. To do the job, I ended up running the wire through shrink-wrap for the entire length to give it some durability. Guess we'll see how long it lasts.
