Excellent Quality Product!
Each individual strand is fully tinned copper (as shown in the photo), with non-molded silicone insulation. Didn¡¯t know that such quality conductors could still be bought. At first, I almost thought they shipped aluminum wire, which was about to make me really upset...that¡¯s how the photo came to be. If you look at the crimp across the strands, you can see the copper showing through the tinned coating. Stripped about a foot of it, just to make sure. Haven¡¯t seen this grade of wire in many, many, many years. Yes, it¡¯s pricey, but it¡¯s worth it. Even the packaging is top notch.

24 AWG tinned stranded silicone coated wire dispenser
This appears to be pretty decent stranded wire for small projects where good flexibility and heat resistant insulation are desired. This wire is nice to solder because the strands are tinned and the insulation does not melt while soldering. The wire dispenser works pretty well and the five spools of different color wire seem to not get tangled inside the dispenser.

Just what was advertised
Exactly what was advertised. A box of 5 colors of silicone covered tinned stranded wire. I love silicone covered wire because it is so flexible, heat resistant and easy to strip. It does tear easily so care must be taken when using in movable devices. Otherwise it is the perfect wire.

Beware the terrible box!
I bought this wire because it looked like a good deal on some silicon-insulated wire. I had a project I needed it for, and I needed it quick. I got it in and the wire is good. I am very pleased with it. However, the packaging is horrendous. Absolutely terrible. I was very careful about putting the reels in properly, used tape and all. Everything looked good to start. But then I started using it, and as one person pointed out, the sides of reels are not tall enough compared to the wire on the spool. So no matter how good you start, the wire jumps out the reel at some point. Then it is a royal pain in the ass to get it straight again. All of this wastes time that could be spent on projects. Also, because it is silicon wire, it doesn't stay put as well, so it's harder to use just out of the box on the reel. All in all, I will likely not be buying it again because of this. In short, great wire, terrible packaging.

Average quality
The striveday silicone wire is of average quality. If you make a half knot loop and untie it, it does not flatten out like a good quality silicone coated wire should. C-
