    Too thin and ended up not using them for a light repair.

    Overall thickness is too large for my purpose

    This wire is very flexible and the jacket is far more resistant to soldering heat than PVC, but I was disappointed in the overall thickness. I planned to use this wire to convert HO scale locomotives to DCC, but found that multiple strands under the shells made for a thick bundle. I have since found another silicone insulated wire of the same gauge with a much thinner profile.
